to compete in the Silver class as a way to introduce himself to the event ’ s format and see how he fared . Starting the event off with the Time Trial , Nick finished one minute 26 seconds ahead of his competition . This win was succeeded by wins on Offroad Day 1 , 2 , and 3 , with leads upwards of 14 minutes 22 seconds . On the final day , Nick finished in second place , two minutes behind Toni Mulec . However , with the lead he had accumulated earlier in the event , Nick easily took the win almost a full 19 minutes ahead of Mulec . Third place would see Jamie Lewis round out the podium . If all goes to plan , Nick intends to compete in next year ’ s Red Bull Romaniacs in the Gold class .
