“ I ’ ve had some time now to reflect on my experience , and am so grateful for the opportunity to compete in this race ,” said Webb on Instagram . “ Huge shoutout to my mechanic Cody Richelderfer and all his hard work leading up to the race and during . [ I ’ m ] also very thankful for the support of the whole Sherco Racing Factory [ crew ] and my teammates Mario Roman and Wade Young for making me feel so welcome . I almost wasn ’ t sure if I was going to be able to compete at the level I wanted to after straining my LCL , on the knee I had repaired in 2019 , three days before I had to leave while racing in the Ohio mud . I sucked it up and wanted to use this year ’ s edition of Vertical Madness as a learning experience . We struggled with some issues we were able to resolve that really hurt me in the overall results , but I was okay with that . I kept my head on straight , don ’ t think I hurt my knee any more than I already did , and had an absolute blast . Shout out to Martin and his crew for putting on an amazing event and I already have it again in my calendar for next year .”
Taking a very special win in the Silver class by almost 19 minutes was Sherco-supported rider Nick Fahringer , the first American to win the Silver class . Although receiving some help from Sherco USA , Nick is financially responsible for his racing . After discussing the event with several fellow racers , Nick decided
