prime traction conditions with the exception of the wet rocks during the shootout on Saturday afternoon . Turkey Rock normally features loose , dry soil that can be a challenge to find traction in but rocks with plenty of traction so it was a real treat to find traction everywhere ! The pro riders who were minding for kids were quite jealous as they had all suffered through the normal Turkey Rock conditions in previous national events !
We had 6 riders competing in the 14-15 year old championship class on the ‘ 0 ’ line . These sections are comparable to national support line sections with some harder obstacles sprinkled throughout . Mika Lonsdale came all the way out from Florida to sweep the series in a fine performance but did find the foreign terrain challenging at times . Colorado Expert rider Jeremy Amos took second in battle with New Mexico ’ s Justice Tidmore in third .
Hailey Glueck of Missouri was the only Women rider competing on the ‘ 0 ’ line , and was our overall Women ’ s champion . Courtney Allison from Colorado was our runner up Women ’ s competitor with Eloisa Zepeda coming from New Mexico to claim 3rd place .
