to put in some work it ' s hot and miserable in Florida so that should be perfect .”
Finishing out the Pro class lineup was Sam Fastle , who posted a 98-point day .
“ The weekend was a little rough ,” said Fastle . “ It was worse than I was expecting . I haven ' t been training as much as I need to be , so my fitness definitely wasn ' t there . Coming up to 7,000 feet , it was a toll on my body for sure and the sections here in Arizona were very long and there was a lot of bike movement , a lot of hopping and stuff . It took a big toll on my body . It was rough because I would clean maybe half a section but then I ’ d really get fatigued as I got through it , and there ' s just two more obstacles I got to get through but I just had to put my feet down because I just couldn ' t hang on anymore . That was a bummer , but I was really stoked because yesterday I had 106 points and we ' re trying to keep it under 100 every event . Today I was able to keep it under 100 even though it seemed like the sections were longer and harder , so I was pretty pumped about that .
There ' s a whole lot of things that I want to add to my techniques ; I ’ ll keep trying .
