every time . My first loop was a little unfortunate ; I just had a couple dumb mistakes , but from then on , I was able to keep improving and keep learning . I think after that , I only had one other dumb five and the rest of that was just little ticky-tack dabs , some of which I needed and some of them I didn ' t . Overall , it ' s really good .”
“ Today was pretty good ,” said Roper . “ I was a little bit tired starting out the day , but I took some of my Hammer Nutrition supplements and that got me rejuvenated and had a lot more energy . Today I think I rode okay ; it definitely wasn ' t my best performance , but I was making silly mistakes here and there . I think I ended up third for the day . I ' ve ridden these rocks before and I know this terrain pretty well , so I think there was a little bit of advantage there but all around , it was pretty dry and grippy and so that ' s where I excelled the most .
