again tomorrow . The terrain here is super big rocks with a lot of grip , so you can make a lot of things that you couldn ' t imagine . It ' s a super place to ride and I would love to come here more often .”
“ Today went pretty well ,” said Smage . “ I thought a lot of the sections looked really hard and some of the bigger stuff I wasn ' t sure that I could make it the first loop . I kind of just held it wide open and hoped for the best ; the bike had more power than I expected , and the rocks had a lot of traction . It ' s just been so long since I ’ ve ridden this stuff , it ' s hard to have that confidence right away . I just tried my best and it turned out to ride pretty well . I was pretty happy with the way I rode ; I just had a single dab on the first loop and kind of needed that one . I just got off line and had to kind of kick myself back on the line and then clean the rest of them . On loop two I had a pretty lame point on section number four ; it was a longer section , and it went easy the first loop , so I kind of rushed the beginning and just put my front somewhere I didn ' t want it to be . I don ' t know if the tire folded or slid , but whatever happened I just lost my balance for a second and took a pretty
