able to go through each part and be able to negotiate each turn . I just take it and run with it , but I enjoy it . Every time we go out to construct a section , I don ' t leave until I ' m happy with it . If I don ' t like it , we just tear it up and start over . We ’ ve always had good luck so far ; we ' ve been able to use the terrain that ' s been given to us .
I remember the first time we went to California , the club said “ Well , we got this field over here and we just put up cones and let the kids ride through them .” I said , “ No , that ain ' t going to work .” The kids want a section just like dad rides , or just like big brother rides , just scaled down to their level . That ' s what we strive to do - put on a section that looks just like a national section , but not as severe . It ' s something the kids can get through and ride .
