The responsibility to find suitable venues for a ten-race series can be increasingly daunting these days , so the Kutskel ’ s ability to host two rounds of the series at their Ebensburg , Pennsylvania , home ensures twenty percent of the series is securely within his control each season . Plus , who doesn ’ t like having some friends over to ride for the weekend , right ?!
I am certain that I speak for most , if not all , of the competitors , as well as their friends and families , in thanking Darlene for the affirmative reply to Dave ’ s query . The mid- August weekend of Coyote Run is a highlight of the Mid-Atlantic schedule and great fun on and off the track . There is a lot to look forward to at Coyote Run : multiple courses , great terrain , a pig roast and pot-luck dinner , and the renowned powder puff race are a few examples of the weekend ’ s fun . Some intrigue also begins to brew as , after several weeks of downtime , Coyote Run serves as the kick-off to the season ’ s second half . It ’ s here that we start to see season championship hopes begin to distill
