Larry Dobos / Bob Hendrison didn ' t quite make the exit of this section .
two days before the event and had little time trying it out . Rock City , Section 11 was their best effort , they cleaned it every time . Their lap scores were 35-22-17 for 74 with 11 cleans .
Both Bob Mellott and Pics by Wic filmed the event on video tape . At the trophy presentation these tapes were played on Mellott ' s portable set so that both the riders and scorers could see the part
of the event they missed . These video tapes will be available to the public soon .
Bob Horton carved solid walnut sidecar replicas as the trophies . The Tryals Shope furnished riding suits , jackets and other contingency prizes .
