Larry Dobos / Bob Hendrixson , Bultaco from Michigan consistently fived both uphill sections 4 and 12 but made up for that by consistently zeroing both sections 7 and 8 . Their lap scores were 33-22-15
for 74 with 15 cleans .
Don Treese / T . J . Treese , Bultaco from Pennsylvania found a way to get through section 4 , shoot the chute with 3s , most of the other teams were taking fives . T . J . is America ' s first lady sidecar competitor . Their loop scores were the most consistent of the day with 29-23-24 for 76 points with 11 cleans .
