This marvelous trials gathering takes place in the Southern Sequoia , on a private property adjacent to National Forest in California . At 7,000 feet
elevation , with grippy granite boulders and logs of all sizes under a pleasant shade of majestic pine trees . Held during mid-September weekend , when most of Southern California is still in scorching triple digits , the Piutes provide a muchwelcome mid-80 ’ temps .
