Women ' s Open barreling through the first corners

The Texas Offroad Championship Series took a two-month summer break from racing in July and August . The high intensity and strenuous activity involved to race dirt bikes in central Texas during those months of thick humidity with high temperatures can be near dangerous .
It was obvious the racers showed up fresh and ready to start the second half of the season at Round 7 . All the racers looked dedicated on the track , and bikes were sticking in the sandy corners , sliding with perfect traction around the flat track corners , and gliding down the bumpy straightaways with deep tire size whoops , putting on a great show for spectators .
However , young Ricky Picciotti kicked off his weekend on Saturday in the 50 Open class with a tough start . Zeke Jennings took the holeshot and held an impressive lead the entire race . Behind him , Ricky took a flying spill at full send , landing face flat on the ground . It only took a matter of seconds , though , for the determined young man to hop right back up and finish the race . There were almost THIRTY other tough kiddos enjoying the time of their lives lapping around the track during the kids race . Parents and family were able to see most of the race to cheer them on . Their track was laid out near Walnut Creek under a shady Texas Pecan bottom where chains from the zooming electric bikes clanked loud and the lack of packing on the combustion bikes pierced ears vividly to leave
