loops to take third place on the day with 40 points to Busto ’ s 44 . This also marked Italy ’ s first podium finish in the TrialGP class since 1995 . Sherco ’ s Jeroni Fajardo had nine failed sections on the day but was able to keep it together to round out the top five with 55 points .
The tables turned on Day 2 as Repsol Honda ’ s Takahisa Fujinami took a commanding lead , posting the only singledigit loop of the day with only 4 points , to take a healthy 8-point lead over teammate Bou , and marking the 41-year old ’ s first win since 2016 . Fajardo had the lowest score after the first loop , 2 points over Bou , but lost the lead in the second loop . Raga was able to capitalize on this to move into third place behind Bou with 36 points . Again , Grattarola posted a fifthplace finish , only one point ahead of GasGas ’ s new factory rider Miquel Gelabert .
“ It ’ s an incredible feeling ,” said Fujinami . “ I would have been so happy with a podium so to win is just amazing . I must thank my team – they have always been behind me .”
