“ It was super neat to see the camaraderie that the women ’ s team has ,” said Todd . “ Maddie and Kylee didn ’ t put Courtney out as a kind of third wheel ; she was part of the team for them . Fir a first-year rider , it ’ s super important to be enfolded into the group , especially since they ’ ve done so many world rounds and it ’ s second-nature for them , but it ’ s all new to Courtney .”
WHAT WAS THE BEST PART ?
“ That ' s a good question ,” said Alex . This this trip felt much more enjoyable for me than Portugal . Portugal was kind of on edge the whole time . I didn ' t know quite what I was doing , and I didn ' t know what to expect .
But this year I think most enjoyable part would have been my second lap of the trial . Believe it or not , I think the culture in Italy was so cool to be a part of and getting to see people we know from other countries was awesome . I think just the most satisfying and the most enjoyable part was to literally have a terrible first loop and then turn around on the second loop and not put a single foot down and just be a solid team member .
