I have put this guard through most of a season of Expert Class riding with Trials Inc and it looks better than my one month old OEM guard that I removed when I upgraded to the Armadillo . My chain has not been derailed and my rear sprocket is nice and straight . There is significant evidence of the guard contacting many rocks and it is still going strong .
Another product from Armadillo is a nice little cover for the carb on most bikes . I remove my air box for deep cleaning and this cover snaps over the inlet of the carb to prevent water from getting inside . When pressurewashing after a weekend of riding , I secure the carb inlet cover with the hose clamp from the inlet boot on the air box .

The sprocket guard is available in a couple different materials . I tested the heavier duty plastic and that sells for $ 25 . A lesser expensive guard is available for $ 10 . The carb cover is only $ 5 . Charlie is still developing his website and online store . For the time being , he is available through email at armadillo @ fuse . net . He can also be found at most Trials Inc events , with a selection of Armadillo products available for purchase , including full coverage fork guards and brake rotor guards .
