Heading into the eleventh round of the Grand National Cross Country series , Magna1 Motorsports Husqvarna ’ s Jordan Ashburn was in a mathematical position to claim the 2022 National Championship . A win would guarantee the Tennessee native the title . If a win wasn ’ t there , he would need to finish two positions ahead of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna ’ s Craig Delong to wrap it up two rounds early .
As the green flag waved for the XC1 Pro riders to start the Kanati Tires Burr Oak GNCC in Millfield , Ohio , it was Ashburn grabbing the holeshot over the rest of the field .
