before picking up some well-curated existing trail through the remainder of the last section . These last three sections have really stepped up the difficulty level , have shown an escalation of rock areas , but again , are negotiable and enjoyable by all .
A bit of asphalt returned the riders to the finish line and the satisfaction of completing this renowned event .
At the end of the day , the club handed out its prized trademark moonshine jug trophy .
Congratulations to this year ’ s overall winner and jug recipient Sean Koeller as he laid down a near two-minute lead over runner-up Dieter Holman Jr with Justin Lafferty seconds behind in third .
Join in the fun next year as VFTR is looking forward to the forty-sixth Moonshine Enduro during the club ’ s 50th anniversary year .
The access to this heralded , oneday-only , trail system is worth the price of admission alone . Huge thanks to the members of VFTR for continuing to put forth a tremendous effort maintaining access to the land and the manpower needed to hold the event . Additional thanks to the anonymous and generous landowners for allowing the ECEA series to step foot on their collective property , St . John ’ s Lutheran Church for allowing a bunch of dirt bikes to gather in the adjacent field on a
Sunday , The Brandonville Citizen ’ s Fire Company , and the ECEA and RORR folks for supporting Valley Forge ’ s efforts .
