one transfer area , the riders made a pirouette-like right hand 180-degree turn under three severely , and differently , angled fallen tree trunks directly into a several hundred yard long , rocky , downhill , creek bed that was flowing with gusto from the rains on Saturday .
Section one and two kicked things off with some flowing singletrack expertly woven through the mountainside and valley . Neither section yet amped up the rockgame , but certainly began to tease you with them . As was the case through the day and each section , there were challenging bits , but nothing that was impassable or “ hard-enduro-esque ” in the course ’ s layout .
Years past would have included some AA rider special sections , but efforts were made to simplify the course and the resources required to monitor split sections by making a unified , approachable , yet challenging trail .
