up that ' s very basic and easy . It feels great to win and I know it ' s an easy event with low scoring , but it adds so much pressure that it ' s just as hard as any other event so as nice it would have been to have an easy day at the end of the year , I think this will keep me pushing for next year to try to stay ahead of Josh because he ' s getting really good and starting to push me quite a bit .
This win is a little bit sweet for sure . After having a whole year off and not knowing where everyone is really at , along with the couple of small injuries that took a lot of my time off the bike in in 2020 , I was really stressed out and never doubted myself as much as I did coming into this season . Also , having a new team of people with FactoryONE , I was nervous about that ; change is always scary , so to prove that the team is doing everything they need to do and more like the support I had before was insane and really good . They were big shoes to fill but these guys went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and obviously it paid off . As much as I really appreciate everyone that stepped in and minded for me , and healing vibes go to Ron Lee as he ’ s still struggling from the first event , the confidence that Ryan gave me in the past was lacking no matter who else was minding for me . Just having his confidence in me and when he tells me something it ' s just
