dumb points here and there , but I had some rides I was really proud of , and I felt kind of like my old self a little bit . I ’ m a little bummed that I missed out on the podium because I know there are points I could have probably not taken or held on to a little bit more , but that ' s just how it goes in trials .
I just want to thank the New Mexico Trials Association for putting on the national . To put a national together in such a short amount of time is pretty dang impressive , so hats off to them and hats off the NATC for pulling together and making a national happen . In the Expert class , Beta teammates Drew Fortner and Jay Gregorowicz battled for top position . After a rocky start that saw him drop to third position early on in the first lap , Fortner battled with Vertigo ’ s Dalton Land to slowly work his way back to third position leading into the final loop . Unfortunately , a shoulder injury would get the best of Land , and failing the first three sections of the final loop put him towards the bottom of the leaderboard , where
