A semi-impromptu Vintage Fun Day Trials was hosted by Ken Brown on March 20 . Seven riders assembled on a beautiful spring day to test their iron and skills just for fun and bragging rights . The Novice and Amateur lines setup for the next day ’ s event were our testing grounds , nine sections and three loops .

Four Yamahas ( two were Mono ), two Montesas and one TL125 were the chosen mounts of the seven pilots . The “ event ” brought back many memories and sensations of years long past for the “ Old Geezer ” competitors .
Top bragging rights were unanimously awarded to Wes Robertson for riding the entire trials on a Rat Rod , an underpowered TL125 with a Dodge Ram logo and camp shovel “ seat ?” even though Luis Belaustegui had low points with two .
All had a great time marking the day a success and the beginning of more Vintage Fun Days to come .
SUNDAY MARCH 21 TRIALS :
Trials Masters Mike Carpenter and Ken Brown ( Ken is also the gracious landowner ) laid out a fun and challenging event .
YOUTH :
The Junior sections were a little harder this time , but the kids rode great . Pushing his way up the hills , Remy took the Strider class . This was Maggie ’ s third time on an electric motorcycle and first Trials event ; but she made it through with Grandpa ’ s help .
Evelyn and Sean battled for first place in Junior A over logs , off camber hill sides , and turns . After the event , the kids ( and Mrs . Julie ) practiced by riding the Junior sections forward and backward . As
