WILL , ADAM BLUMHORST IS GOING TO BE YOUR MINDER AGAIN THIS YEAR ; WITH ADAM LIVING OVER IN OHIO , DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY PLANS TO DO RIDER : MINDER PRACTICE BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS ?
WILL : I would like to . There ’ s a local rider named Jim Hergenroeder , and he has a killer property ; he put on his first trial last year and we were just blown away with the terrain . Jim ’ s place is in between Adam and I , so we ’ re thinking sometime in April or May getting together to practice . Adam can bring his kids , Preston and Cash , and we can go ride . It would be really nice because I haven ’ t ridden with , or even seen Adam since 2019 . It ’ s really crazy to think about because we ’ re going to go to Farrandsville and that will be the first time with him in over a year . It would be nice to get some sort of practice in . I call Adam occasionally just to check in and see how his kids are doing ; we ’ ve stayed close , but we haven ’ t ridden together .
Alex rides with his minder , Lewie Bolopue , at least once or twice a week minimum , and I just don ’ t have that advantage . I feel like I ’ ve improved a little bit so maybe … no , he ’ ll ( Adam ) still yell at me just as much [ laughs ], but maybe he ’ ll yell at me for different things that I ’ m doing . Adam ’ s a yeller , but we get things done .
