Ashburn finished soon behind Smage to round out the podium ; Fahringer took fourth place , and Jeremiah Burkhart closed out the top five .
Round three of the series , known as “ The Nightmare ,” will take place May 15th on Hale Mountain in New Market Alabama . Currently listed as a six-and-a-half-mile loop with a half-mile start , riders will be competing in the dark , so proper lighting will be vital to success . Online registration is currently open .
