FIM SUPERENDURO TITLE
Cody Webb added the 2018 FIM SuperEnduro
World Championship to his list of championship ti-
tles after posting a fifth place finish at the series fina-
le in Sweden. The FMF/KTM Factory Racing-backed
Californian came into the fifth and final round of the
series holding a 17 point advantage over teammate
Taddy Blazusiak, and his fifth place finish was more
than enough to secure the title.
The tight and technical Swedish circuit proved
tricky even for the top-class field. But it was Blazusiak
who tamed it best on the Akrapovic SuperPole lap,
posting the fastest time ahead of teammates Webb
and Jonny Walker. In race one it was Blazusiak who
excelled again, controlling the race from the front.
Behind him, mistakes by Webb and Walker cost the
duo valuable time, relegating the pair to fourth and
fifth respectively, while Rockstar Energy Husqvarna
Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt came away with a solid
runner-up finish.
Race two’s reverse-grid produced its usual surpris-
es with KTM-mounted Manni Lettenbichler taking
