A few words on my trip to El Trial de España words by DAVID GRICE
Having interviewed a lot of the USA trials family already on the Trials Australia podcast , I was really keen to now meet all these people in person . On top of that as a President of Oakleigh MCC back home in Australia I was keen to contrast the difference between how we run trials between the two countries and see what I could take back home .
The warmth and genuine welcome I got from the USA trials family was amazing . Everyone was keen to chat and welcome me . No sooner did I arrive and I already had the organisers of the Wilseyville National ask me to stay on for a few more weeks to attend that as well ,
ON THE PEGS // PAGE 66 and I even had multiple offers of bikes to ride and places to stay .
As well as being thrown into the thick of the action by minding for Sam Fastle at the Californian Trials Invitational on the Wednesday prior , the main event I did come for was El Trial . I was able to ride the Saturday morning and Sunday as well as provide some live streaming coverage of the Pro Shootout .
