The Lombardi Ranch , just outside of Copperopolis , California , is comprised of thousands of acres , currently being used to run cattle . It has been used as a venue for motocross and a few local-level trials for the Sacramento PITS club . The terrain consists of something for riders of all skill levels .
After the obligatory group photo , riders were released to go wherever they ' d like within a certain area of the property for as much , or as little , training as they wanted . Organizers had provided two " loops " of varying difficulty that wound through the dry creek beds to various areas filled with grippy rocks and technical terrain .
Busto and Takeda , under the helpful eye of minder Àlex Solà , used this time as an opportunity to tune their bikes for the upcoming national event .
