DAN SULLIVAN USES A SPATULA
AS A SNOW SCRAPER
It ' s a big bummer ," said FactoryONE Scorpa ' s Alex Myers . " More than just myself and my team and everything , but we spend a lot of time , effort and money to come out and do these events and to have it shut down , it ' s a really big bummer . Yeah , we as Pros spend a lot of time riding our bikes , this is true , but there ' s a lot more behind the scenes , way , way more than just us riding . The promoters have been out here working for months , and it ' s a huge , huge disappointment for them , I ' m sure . We didn ' t do much riding ; the riding I did get in was positive . We made positive improvements on the bike and I was really looking forward to today . If we had a couple of inches , I was really , really looking forward to riding in the snow . That ' s something I do a lot of in the offseason . To be able to actually use that would have been kind of neat .
But nope , it ' s canceled . Now we have to look on to Minnesota ."
In a statement released a few days ago , Andy Saum explained that after much discussion , there will be no additional events scheduled to make up for the canceled rounds . This means that the June 11th / 12th event in Gilbert , MN , will remain the final rounds of the 2022 season . Andy also noted that AMA Western Regional awards will be based on the results from the California rounds .
