Michael Hinkle II ’ s only mistake of the day was in section 4 of the first loop . He figured out his mistake for the following three loops , putting him at only five points on the day , and earning a second-place finish on his Oset 16.0 . Edward Cavey earned a total of 23 points for the day , earning his third place . Cash Blumhorst , riding his Oset 20.0 , took the win in the Youth A class with only seven points on the day , taking his only five-point penalty when he missed a marker in section four of the first loop . Showing off his skills in that section , Cash entertained the crowd by popping wheelies over the section ’ s log obstacle . It ’ s safe to say he ’ ll soon be following in his brother Preston ’ s footsteps and moving up to the adult classes .
For the main event of the day , trials master Mark “ Lightning ” Weppler , included some of the iconic sections for the location , including an old barn foundation . Ten sections challenged riders , including Pro rider Sam Fastle on his new TRS 300 Raga Racing edition . The new faces continued as the Novice class say Tyler Spaeth ,
