Growing up in Austria , Alex Niederer and his brother Andi could count on one hand the number of actual trials events they had competed in prior to their move to the United States . Working up through the brands , and at times sharing both bikes and brands , the brothers soon found themselves competing at the highest level of the AMA NATC Mototrials Championship .
In addition to being Pro riders , Alex became President of the Florida Trials Association at the age of 19 , a position he held for six years , with Andi by his side as Vice-President . He also briefly held the title as the youngest NATC National Organizer , only to be beat four months later by Daniel Blanc Gonnet .
Other than being a Pro-level trials rider , you may know the Niederers as the family behind Trial Store USA , where Alex currently holds the position of Manager . He also manages Small Engine Repairs , a shop dedicated to helping to service anything with a ... well , with a small engine .
Alex had ridden for Beta back in 2013 and 2014 , but when he had his sights set on going Pro for the 2015 season , the opportunity arose for support from GasGas , and Alex made the switch . From 2015 to the end of 2019 , Alex and teammate Daniel Blanc Gonnet would keep the brand high up the leaderboard , with the 2019 season seeing Alex take second overall and Daniel only five
