than than just race by race . It ' s not that I ’ m faster , it ' s not that I ’ m a better rider . I even get the question : “ you ' re riding this Yamaha so great ; is it the bike ?” and to be blunt , the bike is great and it suits me . I feel uncomfortable on the motorcycle , but I ride it so good I ’ m scared to go anywhere else [ laughs ].
When I got on this bike , I had ridden all the bikes before , except obviously Yamaha . I did times on all the different brands ; I was fastest on the Kawasaki .
I had a warm-up lap and on my first lap riding hard , I was already faster on the bike . It ' s weird because when I first sat on the bike , I didn ' t feel like it was gonna be the bike I was gonna be dominant on at all . It was literally a test run ; we didn ' t know what to expect . I didn ' t feel like I could even ride the thing ; it was wider than what I was used to , it ' s different than what I was used to , and then I obviously started winning on this machine right from the get-go . It suits me , and it suits the off-road racing that we ' re putting it through .
