had really struggled in the Pro class that year ; I just wasn ' t fit enough or strong enough . I tailor what I focus on to what helps me in trials .
ANDI , YOU ' RE NOT GOING TO BE RIDING THE PRO CLASS THIS SEASON . CAN YOU EXPLAIN HOW THAT DECISION CAME ABOUT ?
In 2019 , I had already intended on not riding . At the beginning of 2019 , I graduated with my engineering degree , and I had set my mind to finding a job and starting a career . I got married in 2018 . My wife Becky supports trials 100 %, but I just have different plans for myself , and I didn ' t see myself growing a career in trials . I feel like I ' ve achieved what I wanted to , so it was time for me to move on .
Then in 2019 , I had the opportunity to ride one more time , and my parents were willing to support the Trial Store . That was my last season , both because it was short notice , and because I was so busy with my last semester of school I didn ' t have time to prepare properly for it .
When 2020 rolled around , I already knew I was done , and I thanked Beta for their support . I was with them for quite a few years and achieved a lot with them . One day I ' d love to go back and ride trials , even at a National level but not on a Pro level . eek at the Trials Training Center
