The main man at G2F Media, Jake knew better than anyone just how much was
riding on Dougie being able to keep his Vertigo machine on its back wheel for almost
thirty-eight unbroken miles. Years in preparation, from conception to execution,
one slip would have meant instant, crushing, heart-breaking failure and the
usually ice-cool Jake was clearly feeling the pressure.
“There were so many things out of our control – the weather, a car blocking the
