Not in Trials exclusively either. Motocross riders such as the Deegan’s, Ryder
DiFrancesco, Tallon Vohland, Carson Mumford and more have used OSET’s as a
tool to aid their skills on the track. Any time on two wheels is a benefit to your
chosen sport!
In the USA, contrary to predictions; OSET is thriving. People have seen that they
can improve their skills (and keep the kids entertained!) and are buying bikes left
right and centre. While speaking to a number of dealers, we have found that sales
of OSETs have been rising while gasoline bikes have trickled down in numbers.
The same can be said with parts as people are getting more use out of their bikes
than before.
It’ll be interesting to see where this all leads. Electric bikes certainly make more
sense when being forced to ride close to home. Of course, we’re all itching for the
day we can travel again and ride events. But maybe by that time a lot more kids
will have gained enough experience in the yard to go on to fantastic lives in the
sport we all love! n
