CATCHING UP WITH
You started the year off like
gang busters, so what made
the difference from last year?
There were a lot of changes
this year for me. The whole new
team (Coastal Racing Husqvarna),
the bike, switching from a
450 to a 350, just everything,
suspension, a new trainer… It’s
not one specific thing but I think
just everything joined together
made it into a full legit setup.
We were trying everything we
could do. I think with me getting
down into Florida early with
Tyla Rattray (Ricky’s new trainer)
and getting on the new 350. I’m
loving the 350. Gary (Ricky’s mechanic)
was even there to help
multiple weeks just to help with
setup. Everyone’s personally different. So we bounced ideas off each other and
we get to try things and go back, or stick with them if they’re better. Had a lot of
testing.
Tell us your dog’s name.
Her name’s Lexi. I’ve had her for the last three years. She’s been great. She fits
on the planes, too.
