you got a five . I rode really well the second loop , we were on a roll . I didn ' t drink water and the third loop came around and I think it got to me and I made a few pretty costly mistakes .
I slipped by and it ' s unfortunate to be beaten that way . Fourth place again , and fourth place overall for the season . The fourth place overall hurts really bad ; it came down to two dabs for the entire season . That ' s an extremely hard pill to swallow , especially being third all season and then slipping like that .
Huge thank you to Ron [ Sallman ] and Ron [ Lee ] from Sherco - they did a great job keeping the bike in tune . Today was a tough day , mechanically , on the bike . We had clutch issues , I had a flat tire and we changed it all . Yesterday , they changed the entire fork . They ' re doing a ton of work and I really appreciate it .
And then the last humongous thanks goes out to Lewie Bolopue . I wouldn ' t be here without Lewie . He ' s the best minder in the country , I stand by it . I think it ' s true . Even though he doesn ' t have the best rider by a long shot [ chuckles ], I have the best minder .
WHAT ' S NEXT ON THE AGENDA ?
next we ' re looking to go hard enduro racing , so hopefully I don ' t break myself in half . I don ' t have much experience on big bikes . I was a flat track racer for a number of years , so I can go fast a little bit . That ' s about all I need for a Tough Like RORR because I hear it ' s an extremely hard event .
I ' ll be racing a Sherco Factory 300 , a top of the line competition machine . It ' s going to be a big jump . I ' m looking forward to it , I ' m in good shape . I ' m tall and lanky ; if Cody Webb has shown us anything , it ' s that tall , lanky people sometimes do well at enduro .
I ' ll be doing two rounds of the hard enduro series , Tough Like RORR and Sugarloaf . Outside of that , I ' m going to keep pushing through the District 6 trials championship ; I ' m currently doing pretty well there .
I ' m doing some trials schools coming up , a few close to the Trials Inc area .
I ' m also gonna go Enduro World Series ( EWS ) racing on bicycles . My brother and I love racing mountain bikes . The series comes to Vermont in the summer , so we signed up . EWS has never come to the east coast of the United States before , so to see it come to Vermont , it was a no-brainer .
