lost a little focus . You can ' t do that on an easy trial . I thought all the sections were really good .
Overall , I ' m really happy ; second place for the overall season - very happy with that . I ' m really happy with my riding this year . I feel like it got bumped up a little bit and we were able to hang with Pat a little bit closer . We finished second at all the events . That ' s a really good result , especially being on the new bike this year .
had to hit . Every section had its moment where it could really catch you off guard . For me , that was section four ; it was a rock that we had to do in the 2019 shootout and I just couldn ' t quite get it . For some reason this year , it was the same thing . So that kind of set me back a little bit . But the first two loops early on the day saved me there . I thought it was really fun though .
Sunday actually went way better . We were really close to Pat this time . Loop scores were 3-1-1 . Unfortunately , most of those ones were just slack ones and I kind of
I want to give a huge shout out to the GasGas USA team . They helped me out so much this year . My minder , Nigel Parker was there training with me each and every day during the wintertime , making hard lines and catching all my bikes and fixing my bike . So I can ' t thank him enough ; he ' s been a huge part of the training program . I also want to thank Hammer Nutrition for keeping me going throughout the throughout the day and keep me fueled . So big thanks to all of them and everybody else who supports me .
SO WHAT ' S NEXT ?
We kind of hang out for a little bit for about a month and a half , two months . And then we fly over to Europe and compete in world championships . So that should be a whole nother journey in itself and we ' re really looking forward to that one .
