attempts resulting in either a three or five-point score . The second and third sections were a bit of a reprieve before the big finale .
The final section of the day was a section previously used in the 2019 Minnesota Pro Shootout , with a difficult run up to a massive rock wall . Riders struggled to get a successful launch to splatter the wall until Beta ' s Alex Niederer ; Niederer was the first rider to clean the section , much to his , and the massive crowd ' s , delight . Alex Myers was the second-best rider , with his first attempt resulting in only two points . Will Myers had a unfortunate first attempt ; while he completed the splatter and landed on top of the rock , he over-rotated a bit , and lost his footing while trying to take a dab . His dad and minder , Mark , was able to catch the bike , but Will tumbled backwards back down the rocks .
After being checked out and cleared by paramedics , Will reassured the crowd he was ok , joking that " I think I got like three feet of air !" And in the comeback story of the season , not only did Will take his second attempt at the section , but he came back with flying colors to clean it !
With Smage cleaning the entire Pro Shootout , he ended the day with only three points and 29 cleans ; Roper ' s clean second-loop score would help secure his second place on the day . Niederer only took 11 points
