close through lap two , positions changing but no one rider taking a solid advantage . Lap three though would see some separation as Draper , Lafferty , and Snodgrass would battle for the lead , while Witkowski would drop to sixth at the completion of the lap . Johnson would drop to fifth as Phoenix Racing Honda ’ s Ruy Barbosa would work his way into fourth . The only change on laps four and five was Benjamin Herrera moving his way into the top five aboard his MCS Racing Kawasaki . With the white flag out , Snodgrass held the lead with Lafferty and Draper behind . Less than a few miles into the final lap however , Draper ’ s bike would begin to suffer mechanical issues .
