Later in the month , STRA riders gathered for the annual Spring Splash trial at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie , Tennessee . 80 riders across 9 vintage and modern classes competed in the heat and humidity . The otherwise dry conditions provided for relatively good traction on the notoriously slippery rocks at TTC .
Daniel Blanc-Gonnet provided a fresh challenge for reigning STRA Champ class champion , Alex Niederer . Daniel edged out Alex both Saturday and Sunday , while Andi Niederer claimed 3rd both days . Other classes also saw new challengers from near and far , though STRA regulars still earned top positions . The next STRA event will take place September 18-19th in Cornelia , Georgia .
