The loop both days ended with a stadium section just on the outskirts of the pit area . This section actually proved a bit tricky for some of the riders , as they had to navigate several tire crossings followed by a series of three air-logs , spaced almost exactly a bike-length apart .
In all , riders all agreed the changes to section flow was much better for Sunday ' s competition .
" The first loop I came in and I felt like I was running good ," said Alex Myers . " Second loop I made a mistake in a section that I had made through before and five ' d that ; I kept getting more fives but in the same respect , I kept getting more cleans . My loop score stayed about the same , it just it didn ' t feel like I ended up third place ; it kind of felt a lot worse than that . But coming back and seeing that everyone was making the mistakes that I was making , it ' s just kind of cool to see that we ' re all at right about the same level and super happy with our fourth third place ."

" Today went well for me ," said Smage . " I felt like the sections were better than yesterday ; they were all rideable , all cleanable but more challenging ; more to think about , more line options and that ' s always a good thing . Not happy with my first loop riding but I was able to clean them up a little bit for the second two loops . Everyone was riding really well ; I watched quite a few on the first loop and it feels awesome
