WOMEN ' S TROPHY BARCELONA : GIRLS ALSO MAKE HISTORY
If the Indoor Solo Moto Trial in Barcelona was the first indoor trial held in the world in 1978 , today the Palau Sant Jordi has witnessed another historic moment : the celebration of the first women ' s competition in this specialty .
The first Women ' s Trophy Barcelona has brought together the British and seven-time world champion , Emma Bristow , the Spanish Berta Abellán and Sandra Gómez , the French Naomi Monnier and the Norwegian Ingveig Häkonsen .
After going through four " natural " zones ( logs and stones ), the victory went to Bristow ( 0 points ), ahead of Abellán ( 1 ) and Gómez ( 8 ). However , all of them celebrated this historic participation in an indoor event with the same joy .
