" It was a really good day . The last national enduro , I was just a few days out of knee surgery . I felt like I just couldn ’ t push the way that I needed to , but today I was able to get back on the edge . Made a little mistake in test one and had a few more mistakes there in test two . Ended up coming out in front of Josh , and I know the way he rode the last race he was going to be tough to beat . I feel like he took a little bit to get going today , and I felt the pace that I was riding was good . I knew everything was close .
We made a change for test three and four . We decided to change tires . It just didn ’ t work out to our favor . So , lost a little bit of time there , but we switched back to what was working .
The last couple I put the hammer down , but Josh had a good enough advantage that I just couldn ’ t chip away at it . Overall , it was really good . I ’ m looking forward . I ’ m one step closer to that championship ."
