For your first race or if you ' re just getting into it , set your expectations realistic and just start focusing on trying to finish the race ; that ' s your first goal . You might not finish the first few of them but keep building on it and you ' ll get there . Small steps , and you ' ll eventually get there .
LAST QUESTION : WHAT ’ S ONE RACE THAT ’ S ON YOUR BUCKET LIST ?
I would love to go across the pond to some of the big hard enduros overseas , that would be really cool . I ' m thinking about how to make it all work ; I might have to just do one a year and hit like Erzberg one year . Another one I want to do , and it shouldn ' t be that hard to do , is the Snowshoe GNCC . I ' ve been told to do it and I really want to ; it just hasn ' t worked out in the past .
