The Western New York Hare Scramble series hosts a “ miniature ” four round championship at various Upstate New York MX tracks in the autumn months . The last round took place at Sick Bros MX when autumn was really starting to show . It was brisk with snowflakes flying and mud on the ground , perfect conditions for the not so faint of heart . The track had a blend of motocross , woods , grass track , and even some endurocross obstacles

that challenged a wide range of skillsets . With slick conditions , the hill climbs were no joke that begged you to not lose momentum . Despite the muddy conditions , certain spots tacked up into beautiful berms , while other spots turned into deep ruts that required paddling to get through . Sick Bros put on an outstanding race with no shortage of technical terrain which is an ingredient that more harescramble track builders should take note of .
