doing this for a while , and I support giving it a try . I was a little uneasy going into the weekend because of not getting the parts ahead of time , and it was a mad rush here at the end getting the bike together [ for RORR ]. One of the different things from trials is you don ' t have a bunch of other guys around you that are going to possibly run into in the end . There are so many more variables involved now with other people that you can ' t control , which that ' s the way it was with flat track or any kind of a race where you ' re run running around a track with a bunch of guys .
It ' s similar to flat track in a lot of ways ; lining up , getting a good start , and it ' s nerve-racking . You know , if that ' s what Alex is interested in doing and he wants to do it , I think he needs to try it . And if it doesn ' t work out , it doesn ' t work out . But if you never try , you ' ll always wonder if you could have done it ."
They say you never forget your first time , and Alex ’ s first enduro experience is a memory he won ’ t soon forget . Next up on his agenda will be the Trials des Nations , set to be held in Monza , Italy , on September 24th and 25th .
