was able to hold off Kole Swartz and Bradyn Miller for the 11 and Under Championship .
The overall Champion of the 2022 AMA / NATC Youth National after three days of stiff competition was Beta USA ’ s Mika Lonsdale , followed by teammate Sherman Smith III , with Vertigo USA ’ s and 2021 Champion Coran Calvert rounding out the podium .
These riders are a testament to having fun on the bike . From a TY80 , to an Oset , to a Strider ; from 80cc to 250cc ; from first timers to NATC Champions ; every rider felt the thrill of competition and exhilaration of a good ride during this threeday event . Many of the riders had completed four days of riding before the competition as part of the Trials Training Center ’ s Family Camp , and yet still got up and rode the wheels off their bikes . A huge thanks goes to Dan Brown , Larry Smith , and the Trials Training Center for hosting such an amazing event , complete with fireworks on Saturday night . The checkers did an amazing job , and a round of applause should go out to the trial masters of 2022 : Josh Roper and Nigel Parker .
