It is incredible to see how much fervor has been generated in just a few short years for the now annual throwdown between the Mid- Atlantic ( MA ) and Northeast ( NE ) Regions of AHRMA off-road racing at the Ashcraft family ’ s beautiful and sprawling farm just north of renowned Penn State University . Early season conversations often have a “ you going to Ashcraft ’ s ?” thrown in somewhere with the Ashcraft name being blessed with a touch of reverence reserved for special experiences . Certainly , the event ’ s reputation has been earned and continually fostered by the Ashcraft family , who are collectively huge supporters of each region ’ s year-long series , boasting several very competitive ( if not dominating ) participants in nearly every Mid-Atlantic and many Northeast events each year , and some of the friendliest and most hospitable hosts you have encountered . As much as all the competitors appreciate the kindness and generosity of Brian , Lisa , and the rest of the family , that will only get you so far . Races need racetracks … and cheeseburgers .
