REVIEW T FUEL

Real-world review by Chris Cullins
When VP introduced the Trial 2st specially formulated for two stroke trials bikes I admit I was a bit surprised being it ’ s such a small industry . Fortunately for us VP felt there was a need for such a product .
Over the years we ’ ve tried various race fuels with different octane and oxygen ratings . While there where some small advantages , none where big enough to make up for the high cost . So for years we ’ ve used 91 octane pump gas with no issues in our Beta Evo trials bikes .
VP claims an extremely long shelf life , especially if left in the in opened original can . With an octane rating of 95.3 it ’ ll be good for the highest compression trials motors to run safely .
We mixed our usual Motul 800 at 80:1 just like usual and filled the tanks in our Beta Evo Factory and Standard Edition 300 ’ s .
The bikes started right up as usual and after letting them warm we went for our first trials session . Normally after an extended warm up time our bikes typically needed to be revved out to run clean , surprisingly to us that wasn ’ t needed this time ! Crisp and clean from the very beginning . No matter how much slow speed low rpm riding we did the bikes revved up instantly with zero blubbering . On regular pump gas or other race fuels
