clay mess . Of the 96 entries , only 35 were able to complete the full course within the twohour time limit . FactoryONE Sherco ’ s Louise Forsley was feeling under the weather , but still decided to line up to race . The gnarly course , coupled with her health had her end her day early . She immediately went back to the team trailer to be evaluated , and although she wanted to try to continue competing , ultimately decided to listen to her body and return home a day early .
The second race of the day consisted of 10 miles of new terrain , leading riders through the location ’ s infamous cave . Just before the start of Race 2 , the rain started to fall again , this time in earnest , causing much of the course to be impassable for all but the top 16 riders . Webb would repeat his earlier win , this time with a 1:07-minute lead over Hart and Magna1Motorsports Husqvarna ’ s Jordan Ashburn .
Starting Sunday ’ s main event , Webb would have a series of unfortunate events . Ashburn took the holeshot and was able to carry the lead through the second checkpoint . Hart was able to secure a secondplace position off the start line with FMF KTM teammate Taylor Robert close behind .
