Rooted in historic downtown Anniston, Cheaha Brewing Company is located in the old L&N Freight Train Station built in 1885. The station, along with its formerly adjacent
passenger terminal, Union Station, served several railway systems including The Anniston & Cincinnati Railroad, The Tennessee, Virginia, & Georgia Railroad, and The Louisville &
Nashville Railroad, still represented fondly across the top of the building entrance.
Early restoration of the freight station carefully preserved the structure including the wall surfaces, wood transforms, roof structure, and deck. The floor system has been
reconstructed and reinforced multiple times for specific pur
